At the expo, Lithuania is represented by a massive 18 manufacturers, MANTINGA being one of them. ‘Mantinga’ – frozen bakery and convenience food company based in Marijampolė, a producer of bread, snacks, and frozen goods, has received exclusive attention from China. Last week, the company was visited by representatives from CCTV, China’s national TV channel, who had a meeting with Klemencas Agentas, Mantinga’s Chairman of the Board. The purpose of the visit was to present the company’s activity, visit factories and introduce with company’s production. The footage was widely broadcast on China’s national television before the China International import expo even started.
In the words of UAB Mantinga’s Chairman of the board, ‘China has huge potential and us making our way into this market, slowly but steadily, is a tremendous achievement for us. Today we can congratulate ourselves on our Chinese exports of breads and sweet buns, two-dough croissants DUO, and donuts.’
The China International Import Expo 2018 is yet another new opportunity to present oneself as a reliable manufacturer, showcase your range of products and technological capabilities, just as it is a major step towards expansion.
Until now, China has been a highly inaccessible country to importers, and the first call for foreign leaders and industrial manufacturers to this type of expo will offer them a possibility to introduce their products to the Chinese business and people. This is expected to open a door to mutual international cooperation.
