In Vilnius, Mogherini will meet with Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius. Presidential press service has confirmed to Elta that the top EU diplomat will also meet with President Dalia Grybauskaitė. She will also hold a meeting with Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius.
“The migrant issue will be the main topic of the meeting,” said the PM’s spokeswoman Evelina Butkutė-Lazdauskienė.
Mogherini’s visit to Lithuania was originally scheduled for 2 July, however, it was postponed due to prolonged negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program.
