Six synagogues in Lithuania listed as protected cultural heritage

The Ministry of Culture has issued a decree, granting state protection to synagogues in Pakruojis District, Lygumai, Alytus, Čekiškė, Kaunas, Alanta and Kurkliai.

In all, the list of protected objects of cultural significance includes over six thousand buildings, monuments and sites in Lithuania.
