97 percent of Lithuanians watch TV

Meanwhile, 2.9 percent of those polled said that did not own a TV, an establishment survey conducted by the market research company TNS LT revealed.

As every year, the number of Lithuanians who own an LCD, plasma or LED television (59 percent) was growing in 2014. In the second half of 2014, as many as 23 percent of Lithuania’s households had Smart TV sets with an access to the Internet. However, more than half of Smart TV owners did not use the smart functions of their televisions.
