“I have completed my term in Germany and I am happy to enjoy the prime minister’s trust. I have known Prime Minister Skvernelis before, this is not any special news,” Matulionis told BNS Lithuania on Monday.

Matulionis will be recalled from the ambassadorial post in Germany from May 3. Before the appointment to Berlin, he served as chancellor in the government of Andrius Kubilius.
