The prime minister’s spokesman Tomas Beržinskas told BNS Lithuania on Monday she will assume the new position of the advisor on regional and social policy issues on Aug. 20.
Last year, Andziukevičiutė-Buzė was Economy Minister Mindaugas Sinkevicius’ deputy and earlier worked at the investment agency Investuok Lietuvoje (Invest Lithuania) as head of regional development team.
She has also worked as an analyst at the Vilnius-based Public Policy and Management Institute and the UK Department of Environment, Foods and Rural Affairs.
