Pschierer is part of a delegation of some 20 politicians and entrepreneurs from the German federal state of Bavaria touring the Baltic states on April 26-29.
“This is where you work for Lithuania’s future,” Pschierer said after the visit to the new research facility.
He has also praised good trade relations between Lithuania and Bavaria, according to a statement.
“Lithuania is an interesting market for Bavarian companies. Right now, the Lithuanian-Bavarian trade balance is almost back to its pre-crisis peak. Last year, trade volumes between Lithuania and Bavaria exceeded €440 million. We hope the trends will continue in 2016,” the Bavarian state secretary said.
The visit has been organized by German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce (AHK) and Bavaria’s export promotion agency Bayern International.
