Minister of the Interior Dailis Alfonsas Barakauskas confirmed that he was not going to keep Deputy Minister Juocevičius in his team.
“He will not remain,” said the minister on Monday, yet he declined to comment on the reasons for this decision.
The new Minister of Agriculture Virginija Baltraitienė said she had no deputies at present, the team was being formed, on Monday it would be discussed by the Political Council of the ruling parties.
Kęstutis Trečiokas, who entered the office of the minister of environment on Thursday, mentioned he would not be working with Deputy Minister Petkus.
“I do not know, I think not,” said Trečiokas when questioned if Petkus would return to his team.
So far it is not clear who will replace Petkus. Minister Trečiokas also expressed hope that the two other deputies – Daiva Matonienė and Linas Jonauskas – would remain in the team, provided that they agree and their reputations prove impeccable.
The ministers believe that one or two week may be necessary to form the ministerial teams and to approve them.
