Bribery investigation gathers steam as Masiulis is stripped of parliamentary immunity

The removal of his immunity will begin on May 20th, according to the VRK’s decision.

No separate election will be held to replace the Seimas position left by Maisulis after he resigned because the Seimas elections are to be held in less than 6 months. He was elected in the single-seat Marių district.
