The British Chamber of Commerce has new Board and Chairperson

The British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania has elected new board members who have been elected to serve a two-year term.

As a result these individuals are proposed for a variety of strengths and experience in order to guide the growth and direction of the Chamber. Those elected are: Eric Shakeshaft, Robert Juodka, Chris Butler, Sandra Kundrotė, Olga Jachimovic, Mariano Andrade, Vilija Vaitkutė Pavan, Roger Chapman, Mantautas Paškevičius and Augustas Klezys.

After the first meeting of the new Board on 25th of April, 2019, the British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania announced the appointment of Mr. Eric Shakeshaft as Chairperson of the Board.

Eric Shakeshaft is a performance-driven senior management professional and entrepreneur from within the technology,  hospitality, and real estate sectors. Focused on identifying profitable business opportunities and creating comprehensive, executable business plans that consistently improve revenue, increase market share and capture corporate visibility.

Results oriented and experienced in generating business for new markets by employing extensive product knowledge, customer relationship building, and meticulous attention to customer requirements.

Eric is a decisive negotiator and natural leader with proven ability to identify, penetrate, and secure on-going relationships and partnerships. Mr. Shakeshaft expects to contribute to the BCCL by developing strategy, direction and vision for the forthcoming years. “It is an honour to be given the opportunity to chair the board at the ‘British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania. As the BCCL continues to grow, the Chamber board will serve its members well, by bringing value and a vision to facilitate the members best interests- our members can look forward to an exciting 2019 ,” he said.

Mariano Andrade Gonzalez, Head of Barclays Operations Center in Lithuania, and Robert Juodka, Managing Partner of the International Law Firm PR1MUS Derling Lithuania, were elected Vice-Chairmen.
