China wants to bring pharmaceutical factories and traditional medicine to Lithuania

“We spoke with minister Li Bin and her vice-minister about the production of medicine in Lithuania as well as the foundation of a traditional medicine centre,” the Lithuanian minister told BNS.

According to Šalaševičiūtė, she was invited back to China in June, when there will be a meeting of health ministers from China and various other Eastern and Central Asian nations. She indicated her hope that she would receive a more specific offer from China until then. “Discussions to open both a medicine factory and a traditional Chinese medicine centre have begun, because they expressed this desire. Issues regarding medicine will be discussed with the head of the State Medicine Control Agency, who has separate meetings planned. We suggested that China make more specific offers by June,” said the minister.
