Confidence in Lithuania’s education system lowest in 20 yrs – Vilmorus/Lietuvos Rytas poll

According to the daily, education is currently trusted by 41.5 percent of respondents, down from 47 percent in an analogous survey a month ago.

Vilmorus CEO Vladas Gaidys said that the record-low confidence in the education system had to do with the higher education reform launched by the government.

Another 13.4 percent of those polled said they mistrusted the education system, up from 12.2 percent in January.
