Covid-19. June 02

The results of the antigen tests in the Opportunity Passport will be available from August. Until then, the Centre of Registers is to renew the form for retrieving such data.

According to the adviser to the minister of healthcare, Asta Riukienė, talks are underway with the state-owned company to speed up the process.

As the minister’s office said, at present it is not possible for the results of antibody tests to be included in the document. It is not technically possible to compile the data.

In mid-May, Vice Minister of Economy and Innovation Vincas Jurgutis announced that this possibility would appear in June.

Currently, for those recovered from the virus, the Opportunity Passport is valid for 180 days from the time of diagnosis, while for vaccinated persons there is no fixed date.

The document can be obtained by a person who is one week after the second dose of “BioNTech”, “Pfizer” or Moderna, 2 weeks after vaccination with “Johnson & Johnson” and 4 weeks after the first dose of AstraZeneca.

According to epidemiologists, recently there has been a high incidence of COVID-19 in Bezdonys. In May, the infection was confirmed in 26 people, in April, 25 cases of the virus were recorded.
