Energy Minister Jaroslav Neverovič on Friday accepted the resignations of the other two deputy ministers, the Energy Ministry has announced.
Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has reproached Neverovič over Cytacka’s behavior for more than one occasion.
The deputy minister made the headlines when she called President Dalia Grybauskaitė “a liar” in public and when she did not raise the Lithuanian flag outside her house in the district of Šalčininkai on two Lithuanian public holidays in a row, but raised the Polish flag on the occasion of a public holiday in the neighboring country.
In response to criticism from Grybauskaitė over “suspicious” deputy ministers, the ruling coalition decided last week to dismiss all vice-ministers and form new teams after the Cabinet returns powers to the re-elected president when she starts her second term on July 12.
All other deputy ministers have handed in their resignations.
