Direct flight connected Vilnius, Astana on Sunday

It’s the company’s first move to not only Baltic but also EU countries. SCAT Airlines hopes the new direction will be popular among residents of both countries and ensure bilateral tourist flows, contributing to the development of business and industry in Lithuania and Kazakhstan, SCAT Airlines said in a statement.

“Economic ties between Lithuania and Kazakhstan are getting stronger every year. We, therefore, have worked really hard over the past several years to bring this important and necessary direction onto our flights map. Moreover, this exotic Central Asian county is not only attracting businesses, it’s also fascinating for those looking for undiscovered holiday destinations,” Marius Gelžinis, CEO of Lithuanian Air Ports said.
