European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and EU’s High Commissioner For Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton unveiled a memorial plaque with names of the victims, he Foreign Ministry said.
The plaque lists names of Šenavičius, Pilar Juare of Spain and Mette Nielsen of Denmark who all died in Kosovo last year.
Šenavičius, 35, was gunned down when two EULEX vehicles carrying six staff members came under fire from unknown persons in the vicinity of Municipality Zvecan close to the Serbian border on 19 September 2013.
Šenavičius had joined the Lithuanian customs in 2000 and served in the EU’s superiority of law mission in Kosovo in August of 2012.
