Europe Day Fair kicks off in Vilnius

The traditional Europe Day Fair is the culmination of a week of activities and events to celebrate Europe Day, which this year focuses on schoolchildren and young people.

The Seimas and the European Commission Representation in Lithuania on Friday are hosting various educational events and discussions.

The fair featuring various European cuisines is running in the capital’s central Gedimino Avenue through Sunday.

On Saturday, a discussion forum about Europe will be open at Vinco Kudirkos Square outside the government building and an outdoor concert featuring the Lithuanian National Defense Volunteer Force Big Band and the bands Golden Parazyth and The Roop will take place.
