Euros account for one third of cash in Lithuania

Currently, there are around EUR 700 million in circulation, or around 32 percent of all cash circulating in the country.

“On 1 January, it accounted for 28 percent, so the amount of euros in circulation grows with every day. We expect the euro to start dominating the circulation in two weeks,” he said on the radio Žinių Radijas on Tuesday.
