Farmers loses popularity but remains most popular

If parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, the party would be supported by 23.6 percent of respondents, down from 25 percent in January.

The popularity list is continued by the opposition Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats (conservatives) backed by 12.1 percent (10.4 pct in January), just ahead of the ruling Lithuanian Social Democratic Party with 9.6 percent (9.9 pct in January), the opposition Liberal Movement with 4.3 percent (5 pct in January), the Labour Party with 3.3 percent (2 pct in January). The Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania – Union of Christian Families and the Order and Justice Party would each be backed by 2.7 percent of respondents (2.2 pct in January).

Another 13.1 percent of those polled said they would not come to polling stations at all (14.5 pct in January) and 20.3 percent said they were undecided on the political party to support (20.2 pct last month).

The Vilmorus survey was conducted on February 10-15 of 2017.
