I trust Minister of Agriculture – Lithuanian PM

“I trust the minister of agriculture. When we will submit the list of minister, so far all the ministers are included in it,” said Butkevičius after the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

The prime minister assured that the issue of the Ministry’s staff was already addressed and all the doubts were dispelled.

“This ministry has received much attention, particularly after the information was spread that some of its high-ranking employees might be hired based on certain political motifs. I can say it firmly that each of these issues was investigated and all the statements about transparency of those hired persons were received. None of the statements contain any doubts that they cannot hold their offices. I think there is too much of politicking,” said Butkevičius.
