Projected revenues of the state and municipalities’ budgets in January stood at €602.8 million, while actual collections reached €614.8 million.
State budget revenues in January, €545.3 million, exceeded projections by 1.9%. It is also 11.3% above tax collections in January 2015.
Most of the tax revenue came from the value added tax, €396.6 million or 8.8% more than in January last year and €3.3 million (0.9%) more than expected.
