“Seventeen German troops, i.e., the commander of the battalion and the steering group, are coming to Lithuania today,” Captain Tomas Pakalniskis, spokesman for the Lithuanian Armed Forces‘ Joint Staff, told BNS.

In his words, about 50 Belgian troops are coming to Lithuania later this week with their military equipment.

The highest number of troops will be stationed in February, with the entire unit of about 1,200 soldiers arriving in June. About half of the troops will be troops of Germany, which will head the battalion.
