Liberal leader suspected of bribe-taking summoned to Prosecutor General’s Office

The politician, who was accompanied by his lawyer, did not comment to reporters on the reasons for his visit.

The Special Investigation Service (STT) is investigating suspicions that Raimondas Kurlianskis, vice-president of MG Baltic, one of Lithuania’s biggest business groups, gave a bribe of €106,000 to the politician.

Kurlianskis has been arrested and Masiulis has a status of special witness in the investigation.
