The Migration Department said on Wednesday that a Syrian family had come to Lithuania from Turkish refugee camps.
“Three people were relocated from Turkey to Lithuania on July 19, 2017. Lithuania has to date relocated 400 people from Italy, Greece and Turkey,” it said in a press release.
Lithuania two years ago pledged to take in a total of 1,105 refugees from such countries as Syria, Iraq or Eritrea under the EU program.
