Lithuania could accept 6,000-8,000 NATO troops without logistics problems, defence minister says

“If the Rapid Reaction Force arrived here with around 6,000-8,000 troops we would not see any major problems regarding their accommodation, feeding, transportation within Lithuania’s territory,” the national defence minister told reporters on Friday.

Olekas says that if a bigger number of troops were to arrive to the country then the first major problem would be traffic congestion in civil roads.
