Lithuania receives 25 Ukrainian asylum requests

Dalia Dzimidienė of the country’s Migration Department said the processing of four requests was discontinued as the applicants had left Lithuania, and the remaining requests are being processed.

Asylum requests are submitted for various reasons and each of them is processed individually by taking into account all circumstances, including the political situation, security, social and human rights in the applicant’s country of origin,” Dzimidienė said.
