The motorcyclists who attempted to enter Lithuania via Šalčininkai and Medininkai checkpoints from Belarus had visas but could not provide other documents required for entering the Schengen zone, the State Border Guard Service said.
Before them, eight other Russian bikers were not allowed to drive into Lithuania on Monday and Tuesday from Belarus and the Russian Kaliningrad region. Some of them attempted to enter Lithuania after being sent back to Belarus by Polish border guards.
