Up to now, the law did not ask the Police Department, the State Border Guard Service, and the State Security Department to provide the Migration Department with information about the applicants.
“Lithuania is open to all those who wish to live and work honestly in our country, however, the residence permit issuance procedure must be in line with the state’s interests and ensure public security,” the Lithuanian presidency said.
