Lithuanian boy beaten up in ‘racist Brexit attack’ in UK

The boy’s hand was severely injured and he suffered shock after the attack by a fellow pupil.

The United Kingdom Lithuanian community chairwoman Dalia Asanavičiūtė claimed it is not the only child to be a victim of a racist attack after the Brexit referendum.

“There are more incidents and it is due to the fact that they come from other EU countries. Hatred directed at children is alarming,” said Dalia Asanavičiūtė.

The boy’s mother said that her wounded son has been brought home by two English women who had protected the boy earlier.
