The company said that it was chosen as the contractor by NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) to upgrade the air base of Lithuania’s Air Force in Šiauliai.
“Tender procedures were particularly complicated. The contract envisages a possibility for further cooperation in implementation of other projects administered by the agency in Lithuania,” Mitnija CEO, Julius Gendvilis, said in a press release.
Mitnija will design and reconstruct a platform near the NATO aircraft hangar and the taxiway. In total, it will fix 8,400 square meters of asphalt surface and install a drainage system.
Mitnija has a backlog of orders worth more than €72 million.
