Lithuanian customs officers bust 154 kg of hashish

According to the press release, the BMW X6 was pulled over for a check on the highway Kaunas-Marijampolė-Suwalki at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday, and its driver told he and his girlfriend were on their way home from a holiday in Spain.

An examination of the automobile revealed structural modifications of the bull, and a more thorough check disclosed a hiding compartment, which contained 154 kg of hashish. According to information available to the Customs Criminal Service, a gram of hashish costs about 10 euros on the black market, therefore, the busted shipment may be estimated at over 1.5 million euros.
