Lithuanian customs officers find over 100 kg of hashish in Russian’s car

A Cadillac CTS, driven by a Russian national identified by his initials M. M., was pulled over by a Kaunas territorial customs patrol last Thursday night.

The Russian man said that he was on a trip around Europe with his wife and two young children, but the customs officers found his behavior suspicious and decided to have the car X-rayed at the Kybartai checkpoint.

A total of 106 kilograms of hashish with an estimated street value of around 1 million euros were found in hidden compartments under the floor and in the rocker panels of the car.
