Such position was relayed by Danas Arlauskas, director general of the Lithuanian Business Employers’ Association, who met with the minister of education and science.
The meeting focused on more effective organisation of placements and the necessity to prepare employees of new specialities. Employers offered to actively participate in the process of preparing the needed specialists.
This year, the Ministry of Education and Science has signed agreements with associated institutions and companies of various economy fields: the Association of Restaurants and Hotels, the Association of Lithuanian Aviation Employees, IT company GetJar Baltic and the Infobalt association.
A deal was reached to cooperate solving issues related to legal regulation of vocational education, organisation of vocational education seeking to satisfy the demands of the labour market, practical training, apprenticeship forms, occupational guidance, etc.
