Based on the data of 4 December, the National Paying Agency paid out LTL 570 million (EUR 165 million) for the declared agricultural area in use and the first hectares. LTL 14 million (EUR 4 million) more was allocated to dairy producers who suffered from the Russian embargo of agricultural products. Advance direct payments were distributed to 102,000 applicants.
This year, 140,445 applications for direct payments were received, 2,800,258 hectares of agriculturally used area were declared.
