Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, will present to the ministers the deal reached with Iran on 14 July over its nuclear programme. Later, the ministers will address the situation in Libya and will discuss the situation in Tunisia after the recent terror attack there. Possible EU’s support the country’s social, economic and security reforms will be considered as well.
Afterwards, a working dinner is scheduled with the Tunisian prime minister and foreign minister.
In the working session in the afternoon, the ministers will discuss the Middle East Peace Process. They will also be introduced to the EU’s action plan in the area of human rights and democracy for 2015-2019.
