Revenues of the central government and Lithuania’s municipalities totalled €3.035 billion, or 3.4% more than planned and 9% more than over the same period last year.
However, VAT collections fell slightly short of projections, €1.237 billion or 0.8% less than planned.
Meanwhile corporate tax contributed €272 million, 10% above the target.
Income tax accounted for €603.5 million of the tax revenue and exceeded projections by 5.1%.
In all, the projected government budget this year is €5.945 billion (or €8.046 billion, including European Union funds).
