A household’s average spending on food, drinks, non-food products, tobacco, medical supplies, entertainment and fuel amounted to 398.06 euros in May, down by 4.06 percent month-on-month. Meanwhile, the spending grew by 1.76 percent to 394.79 euros in Latvia and by 4.29 percent to 494.98 euros in Estonia.
The average basket of a single visit to the store fell by 7.39 percent to 11.4 euros in Lithuania last month from April, declining by 1.28 percent to 10.05 euros in Latvia and by 3.02 percent to 14.47 euros in Estonia.
