Lithuanian parliament committee to probe use of intelligence data

The committee has been asked to carry out such an investigation by 99 lawmakers.

“We have to investigate how the Law on Criminal Intelligence is being implemented today and also propose to the Seimas and those institutions responsible for the implementation of the law on ways to do that and whether any amendments are needed,” Legal Affairs Committee chairman Julius Sabatauskas told journalists on Thursday.
