The presentation on the channel will be made by Tetiana Pushnova, general producer of Ukraine Today. The event will also be attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Valerii Zhovtenko, and Vaiva Žukienė, president of the Lithuanian Cable Television Association.
Ukraine Today, which aims to freely broadcast opinions and information to the world about events in Eastern Europe, was launched in the summer of 2014 and has ever since been airing news in English around the clock. Based in Kiev, its headquarters include a TV studio and an experienced team of Ukrainian, British, American, and Canadian professionals.
The channel showed initiative in establishing the International Supervisory Council which is composed of experienced foreign media representatives. The task of the Council is to advise the channel Ukraine Today on issues to be covered.
