“It will depend from both the geopolitical and economic situation, consumption in other countries, as well as other factors. Our goal is to have a balanced budget in 2017,” said Butkevičius.
The head of Government hopes that budget collection projections will be fulfilled next year.
“We are very ambitions. After Russia imposed sanctions, some said that Lithuania’s budget collection plan will fall short by around 10-15 percent. However, we have been implementing the plan successfully so far and hope that next year we will collect the projected amount,” said Butkevičius.
