Lithuanian PM pushes for Skvernelis’ early resignation ‘due to politicking’

“Last week there were some announcements related to the election campaign that came out through his advisers. We have previously agreed that neither he, nor his team would do any politicking. Due to the fact that the agreement has been broken, I have submitted a decree,” said Butkevičius.

Interior Minister Skvernelis said that his position was political, which was why he was talking about politics and responding to journalists’ questions whenever they arise.
