Lithuanian Post to employ 75 extra employees to handle euro exchange

“Lithuania Post is one of four organisations that will exchange the litas to the euro free of charge at the beginning of next year. We are making every endeavour to make this process smooth and professional; thus all measures are employed for easy and simple access to the new currency.

Starting on 2 January, almost fifty percent of all post offices will provide the currency exchange services. In some post offices, the currency will be exchanged by the postal staff, and some other post offices will engage mobile teams. We are going to recruit employees precisely for these teams,” Inga Dundulienė, director of Postal Network Division of Lithuania Post, said.
