According to Grybauskaitė, the commitments made by the previous Greek government in exchange for the EU’s financial assistance must be met.
“We might consider extending a deadline; however, those commitments which were given by the previous government are very important. There has to be continuity and a responsible fiscal and economic policy enacted by all member-states of the eurozone,” she said in Brussels.
