Lithuanian president says eurozone leaders still far from deal with Greece

“Up today the meeting was good on the process, but not on the outcome. The next 48 hours are absolutely important, but still we are not feeling the Greek government really understands what can happen or could happen if they do not fulfil their responsibility to take the country’s future into their hands,” the president said after a eurozone summit in Brussels.

“Nobody can live the life instead of Greeks; nobody can perform their responsibilities instead of the Greek government. And that’s exactly what we are talking about, so today we (…) persuade the Greek government to use our experiences and to perform what is expected from them and what is necessary,” she said.
