Lithuanian president’s advisers questioned in state secret leak case

Presidential advisers Ieva Baubinaitė, Šarūnė Sablevičienė, Živilė Didžgalvienė as well as former presidential adviser on national security issues Jonas Markevičius were questioned during Tuesday’s hearing.

The pre-trial investigation in this case was launched last October after BNS news agency published an article about a warning issued by the State Security Department about information attacks plotted by Russia against Lithuanian leaders.
