Prezented by Maziliauskas along with Povilas Šorys and Gitana Stankienė, the design White Page – Soul House took part in a competition for a monument in Jean Rey Square in the Brussels quarter of European institution. The winner was Britain’s An Echo In Time, just ahead of Memory Constellation by the Netherlands.

The competition was held to pick a monument to victims of all totalitarian regimes in Europe of the 20th century. Maziliauskas told BNS that whiteness and light were the main features of his design.
