Lithuanian residents back Skvernelis, Nausėda for president – Delfi/Spinter poll

Skvernelis would be backed by 12.2 percent of respondents, while Nausėda would be supported by 12 percent. They are ahead of Kaunas Mayor Visvaldas Matijošaitis who secured support of 9.5 percent of those polled.

The poll carried out for delfi.lt is continued by MEP Vilija Blinkevičiūtė (7 pct), MP Ingrida Šimonytė (5.6 pct), diplomat and the European Union’s former ambassador to Russia Vygaudas Ušackas (5.2 pct), MP Žygimantas Pavilionis (4.2 pct) and MP Ramūnas Karbauskis, the leader of the ruling Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union (4 pct).

Spinter Tyrimai (Spinter Surveys) polling company interviewed 1,005 respondents between ages of 18 and 75 on Nov. 16-24, delfi.lt told BNS. The margin error is 3.1 percent.

The presidential election in Lithuania is scheduled for May of 2019.
