According to the survey conducted by Vilmorus pollster in November, TS -LKD ranks first with support of 15.4 percent of those polled (14.9 pct in October), LFGU follows with 12.1 percent (12.4 pct in October) and Social Democrats rank third with 7.9 percent, down from 10 percent in October.
Sociologist said the conservatives are gaining an increasingly strong foothold due to a widening gap from LFGU in second.
“The line-up remains unchanged, only tendencies remain in some places,” Vilmorus CEO Vladas Gaidys told BNS. “There is a certain increase in (the popularity of) the Homeland Union, it is not major, however, the increase has been continuing for the past eight months with a minor exception, and the party’s has been showing constant growth, it was first or second in the summer but is currently in clear lead.”
The Order and Justice party remains 4th with support of 6.4 percent of respondents (6.2 pct last month), ahead of the Liberal Movement with 4 percent (4.1 pct last month) and the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania – Union of Christian Families with 3.8 pct (4.2 pct in October).
The share of undecided respondents rose to 23.9 percent from 19.9 percent a month ago.
