Lithuanian social democrats consider leading minority government

“Of course, there’s fear. (…) We cannot discount that possibility that if the Order and Justice left, we would have a minority government, perhaps supported by some opposition parties. Anything might happen in such cases as politicians are often affected by emotions,” he said.

According to Kirkilas, in case of a minority government, a lot of time would be devoted to negotiations with opposition parties. Kirkilas headed a minority government in 2006-2008.
