Lithuanian soldiers train in international exercise in Norway

This exercise will certify the several-month long preparation of the ARCC to be the operational headquarters for land operations of the NATO Response Force from this July.

This computer-simulated training is located in the NATO Joint Warfare Centre in Stavanger. The several hundred of officers participating in the exercise are focussing on the coordination of actions in a staff of a combined force. The exercise scenario encompasses action on land, at sea and in the air.

At the CPX the staff of the Danish Division including the Lithuanian officers is planning tactical level operations involving the available capabilities (Danish, Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian brigades). Latvian officers from the Joint Staff and Latvia’s motorised brigade are also taking part in the exercise as part of the headquarters of the Danish Division.
